Andrea Arobba (Montevideo, 1969), dancer and
choreographer, has taken part in several
international dance projects, under the direction
of Denis Plassard (france), Alexis Eupierre (spain),
and Joan Barret (USA), among others. She has
also taken part of workshops and courses with
John Jasperse (USA), David Zambrano (Venezuela,
USA), Eric martin (france), Juan Kruz (Spain,
Germany), Martin Keogh (USA), Nienke Reehorst
(Netherlands) and Ana Eulate (Spain). She has
participated in more than 50 performance projects
in Latin America and Europe, both as a dancer and
as choreographer, and has been an active member
of the contemporay dance group contradanza
for the last sixteen years.
